Planning engagement activities for science festivals

Science engagement at festivals can be very valuable in reaching large and diverse audiences.

Social and cognitive sciences are rarely represented at such festivals, unlike the more well-known physical sciences (e.g., astronomy, chemistry). Thus, this commentary has two main goals.

First, it is an exhortation for scientists from smaller or less well-known fields
